On April 22nd and May 4th, the Univeristy of Arizona would like to invite you and your Little Leaguers to attend its "Little League Baseball Days".  The games will be held at the Hi Corbett Field in Tucson. 

In order to promote Little League Baseball, as well as the college baseball experience, Little League Baseball and Softball have worked with various colleges and universities resulting in a "Little League Baseball Days" at the collegiate level.  It is on this day that young athletes of all ages will get to experience the game of baseball at its finest.  They will have complete game-day experience, from the warm up to the game-ending play.


Event Dates

Sunday, April 22nd

Arizona vs. Stanford at 12:00pm (noon)
- Pregame On-field Recognition
- Postgame Autographs


Friday, May 4th

- Arizona vs. UCLA at 7:00pm
- Star Wars Night
- Pregame On-field Recognition

 

Admission and Game Information:

The Little League players, parents and coaches can attend the games for a reduced price of $4.00.  Little League players are encouraged to wear their uniform shirts in order to be identified for admission.  To purchase tickets, go to https://ev12.evenue.net/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/EVExecMacro?linkID=uaz-ts&evm=prmo&RSRC=&RDAT=&caller=PR and enter the promo code "BBYOUTH2018".  Promo code ends the Friday before each game at 5:00pm.

On April 29th, the University of Arizona would like to invite you and your Little Leaguers to attend it's "Little League Softball Day."  This event will be held at the Hillenbrand Stadium in Tucson.


Sunday, April 29th

- Arizona vs. OSU at 12:00pm (noon)
- National Anthem Buddies and intros
- Poster Creation Station
- Post-Game Run the Bases
- Post-Game Autograph Session

Pitch, Hit & Run Event 2018

Pitch, Hit & Run 2018

The Parks and Recreation Department of Sahuarita will be hosting a local competition for the MLB’s Pitch, Hit and Run 2018 event! 

The event is free to participate and the players will run the bases to see how fast they are, pitch to see how accurate they are, and hit off a tee for both accuracy and distance.  They will also have the opportunity to advance to sectionals and possibly participate during a Diamondback’s game. 

Players ages 7 to 14, as of July 17, 2018, are eligible to participate in this event.  If you are interested in signing up your player or players you can do so at pitchhitrun.com.  Once on the page, click find a competition and enter 85629 for the zip code, this event is option 1.
