Copper Hills Little League serves the youth of Sahuarita, Green Valley and adjacent areas in Southern Arizona.
Our Mission: To instill in the children of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority, so that they may be well adjusted, stronger and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens.
Mandatory 12, 11, 10 Year Old Player Evaluations (Baseball & Softball)
All 12, 11, and 10 year olds MUST be registered and MUST attend at least one of the evaluation sessions (tryouts) this week. Evaluation attendance is optional for 9 year-old players.
Session 1: Thursday, February 11 / 6:00 to 8:00 pm / check-in starts at 5:30 pm / Anamax Park
Session 2: Saturday, February 13 / 1:00 to 3:00 pm / check-in starts at 12:30 / Anamax Park
All players who attend an Evaluation Session will be placed on a team (in the Majors or Minors Division). Registration is still open for all divisions for baseball and softball. All registrations MUST be completed online at www.chll12.com.
Tee Ball & Coach Pitch - $110
Minor, Major, 50/70, Jr, Sr - $130
A $10 late charge will be applied to all T-Ball, Coach Pitch, Minors and Majors registrations completed after February 21 (players registered after that date may not have their uniform in time for Opening Day).
Documentation Review & Uniform Sizing Sessions
Documentation Review and Uniform Sizing will be held at Anamax Park (under the Canopy next to Field 2) during the player evaluations sessions this week (see above).
3 tips to save time in the review process:
Register online before you go to Anamax Park. You can do your registration at home and still make payments at the review session.
March 12 from noon to 3 pm is the Deshun Glover Baseball Camp put on by the Sahuarita High School Baseball Team and Staff. It is a GREAT way for girls and boys ages 6 - 14 years old to get ready for the season. Click here for the registration form.
Each of these divisions have slightly later practice start dates than our T-Ball thru Majors Divisions. If you are registered in these divisions, you will start to receive more information in early to mid March.
Register online by Sunday (1/31) to save at least $10 per player.
If you plan to attend the registration/document review/uniform sizing session tomorrow (Triple Play from noon to 3 pm), please go online at www.chll12.com and register first (all registrations MUST be completed online, click the orange "REGISTER NOW" button on the right side of the webpage). We will have a few computers available there, but they run pretty slow when things get busy. If necessary, you can make your payment at Triple Play.
TBall & Coach Pitch Registration Cost
January 1 to January 31 = $100
February 1 to February 21 = $110
After February 21 (player may not have uniform for opening day) = $120
After February 21 (player may not have uniform for opening day) = $140
Age and Residency Document Requirements
We will also be conducting proof of residency, age verification and uniform fitting tomorrow. Residency documents (must provide 3 different types) must be in effect between February 1, 2015 and February 1, 2016. If you need more information, check out the Little League Eligibility guidance document (it is last year's guidance, so add 1 year to the effective dates). We will not be keeping copies this year, just validating the information. Players who are selected for CHLL All Star teams at the end of the season will need to provide documents in June that meet the same criteria.
We Still Need Managers!
If you are interested in being a Manager for any team (and have not yet let us know), please respond to this email and let us know! We are especially short on Managers for Tee Ball, Coach Pitch and Minors AA baseball.

Players will be required to attend a session to complete proof of residency, age verification and uniform fitting (Jan 23, Jan 30, Feb 11 or Feb 13, see website for times).
